Our Mission

…that we have chosen to accept is to perform secret acts of kindness and service for family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and strangers by loving them to Christ so that God is glorified.  As indicated in Matthew, we choose to do our missions of good deeds in secret so that God receives all of glory knowing he will meet our own needs and bless us abundantly.

At GSSA, we are dedicated to enlisting and nurturing compassionate volunteers, known as GSS Agents, who are committed to spreading kindness in their communities. Whether through small secret acts of kindness or carefully planned initiatives, our goal is to make the world a brighter, more compassionate place for all.

 

Through our headquarters, we coordinate larger-scale secret acts of kindness and provide vital support to non-profit organizations offering kindness programs for children, those in foster care, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Additionally, we actively raise funds to build essential infrastructure like schools, community centers, and libraries in underserved communities, providing vital resources and opportunities for education, empowerment, and healthcare to those in need, particularly in regions like Kenya and Jamaica. Together, we strive to develop more GSS Agents everywhere we go through our activities, as we uplift and empower individuals and families, offering compassion, hope and opportunity where it is needed most.

Foundational Scripture

Take care! Don’t do your good deeds publicly or before men in order to be seen by them; otherwise, you will have no reward with and from your Father who is in heaven. Whenever you give to the poor, don’t shout about it as the hypocrites do-blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets and calling attention to their acts of charity! I tell you in all earnestness, they have received all the reward they will ever get.  But when you do a kindness to someone, do it secretly-don’t tell the left hand what your right hand is doing.  And your Father who knows all secrets will reward you openly…Matthew 6:1-4. 

 

Vision

An army of millions of God’s Secret Service Agents worldwide will positively change the world for Christ by conducting secret missions of kindness and service and overcome evil by doing good (Romans 12:21).

Goal

God’s Secret Service Agents will act as instruments of His grace and love by carrying out the following purposes:

​

1. Recruiting and supporting a network/movement of GSS Agent volunteers (individuals, groups, churches and businesses ) to perform secret missions of service to people in need. We provide training, suggested missions, contests, and other tools to help GSS Agents complete secret missions/acts of kindness in their communities.
      

2. Implementing hands-on secret acts of kindness and large-scale community service projects near  GSSA Headquarters in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.  
    

3. Collaborating and/or funding nonprofit partners through mini-grants, anonymous donations, project support or technical assistance related to GSSA target areas of: teaching children kindness and how to be Junior GSS Agents, helping poor, homeless or undereducated individuals, children and families in need, locally, nationally and internationally. Creating and supporting a Kindness Koalition of other nonprofit organizations in the kindness space to magnify the impact of kindness in the world.
    

4. Constructing Schools, Community Center, Libraries and other infrastructure in poverty stricken, isolated communities in developing countries like Kenya and Jamaica to house education, economic empowerment and healthcare programs for needy children and families to escape poverty.

Approach

GSSA provides creative/fun ways to volunteer by signing people up to be “covert agents” who perform SECRET missions/planned or random acts of kindness. 

 

God’s Secret Service Agent’s (GSSA)  innovative volunteer community service approach is based cheekily on the Mission Impossible TV Show and movies, as well as James Bond spy movies. It encourages people to sign up as Secret Service Agents commissioned by God to plan and conduct secret missions (acts of kindness) to help others in need. 

 

GSS Agents, as members are called, have fun and find joy in spying out their “target mission assignments” (people they plan to help) and conduct secret acts of kindness suggested by GSSA or their own secret acts of kindness with pure motives, not expecting acknowledgement or anything in return. By regularly conducting secret missions of kindness (at least monthly, if feasible), GSS Agents spread love in the world and their own lives are often enriched and blessed by God.
